F1 marrying USC - not living together

I love this site...
I am a senior in college and will be graduating this May. My boyfriend went to my same school and graduated last May. We are thinking of getting legally married in January to start the process so that we can get married through the church after I get the advance parole aproved. I have few questions.
- I called the USCIS to ask about the forms that I need to fill out and she told me that even if I get the advance parole aproved that does not assure me that I will be able to re-enter the US. How true is that?
- I've never lived with my boyfriend, even when he was going to school with me. Now he is living in CT and I am in MA (2 hours away). We are not planning to move in together till after I graduate and I move down to CT. How would this affect my application? Our applications are going to state that we are living in different states. Also, we are both moving in May, so our addresses are going to change. Where are the forms mailed to? Will my application be denied because we live in diff states? What if I get an interview date before May (not likely...I know), then we will have nothing but pictures that proves that our marriege is not a scam. Where would we be called for our interview? CT or MA?
- In a job application, when they ask me for my status, what would that be? I am not a PR or an F1 visa holder. What am I?
- Since I'm submitting all the papers together, I need to send them to the office in Chicago, right? What's the approximate waiting time for there?
Thanks so much!

It is true if you had overstayed your visa or accured illegal presence in the US for over 180 days or more. Otherwise there is no problem re-entering US using AP.

I dont think there would be problems, but USICS understands this and there are so many cases where married couples live separately due to a valid reason.

Our applications are going to state that we are living in different states. Also, we are both moving in May, so our addresses are going to change. Where are the forms mailed to?
All the forms should be sent to the chicago lock box. The address is on the forms.

Will my application be denied because we live in diff states?
It would be denied if the officer thinks your marriage is fraud or if you are not eligible.

What if I get an interview date before May (not likely...I know), then we will have nothing but pictures that proves that our marriege is not a scam. Where would we be called for our interview? CT or MA?
It depends on what DO you choose in your I-130. If you change address, you need to notify USICS to update your records so they could determine a DO near to the new address.

- In a job application, when they ask me for my status, what would that be? I am not a PR or an F1 visa holder. What am I?
If you applied for your GC and have your A#, your status would be "Pending AOS". You need EAD to work.

- Since I'm submitting all the papers together, I need to send them to the office in Chicago, right? What's the approximate waiting time for there?
Yes, you send all applications to the lock box and from there it is sent to the NBC in Missouri. You need to track the timeline for your DO to see how fast or slow it is.

Thanks so much!

Thank you so much for your quick reply! All this is new for us. One more quick question. As I mentioned before I live in MA and my boyfriend lives in CT. Will our OD be Boston or Hartford? Does my OD changes every time I move?

You can choose the DO where you plan to attend your AOS interview.

Everytime you change address, you call USICS and update your application with new address. This in turn updates the DO you would be attending interview.
