F1 Inside US,Adjust status OR regular process? (DV2009)

Hi,

"In-status" F1 Student in the US in Texas
Received NL1 May 16 with 2009AS00023xxx (high rank number?)
Native born Hong Kong

Questions:

1. Should I apply adjustment of status in Texas?
2. Will it be better or slower?
3. I was planing to get a new F1 Stamp in July 08 or Dec 08.
But now this "luck" makes me change my mind, because I might
think it might be more risky to get new stamp?~

4. What do you guys think about my interview chance??
(high rank? no luck?)

This letter came in yesterday, and I am thinking too much,
please help!!!!

Thanks~ Angel side of my heart vote for CP, but evil side wants me into ASO~......... Also, with AS23xxx, I don't think it would be easy to get interview as the Bulletin always have only 13-15xxx for Asia Region.

What do you guy things?

since Asia was current in September for two years running, everybody had a chance for an interview.
