i'm currently on a F1 visa in the US. I've been married to a US citizen for 10 months now but haven't applied for permanent residency because we couldn't afford it. i might go out of status becasue of my grades. I will be able to apply for it in the next month. What i want to find out is that if i go out of status and apply for my green card, how can i stay in the US without having to go back to my country, which is England?
