F1 -> marry to US citizen Help
I am holding F-1 since this spring and currently enrolled in a graduate school. My Fiancee (US citizen) and I plan to get married next week and move to his house. It's 4 hours way from his house to my apt, so I decided to drop my school and move. I registered some classes for fall semester but haven't paid tuition. Just heard about INS is monitoring F-1 holder more and more serious, so wish to know if I need to do something in school about changing F-1 to temp PR when I got marriage license and fill some form to INS. Or, can I just ignore to pay tuition and everything in school, then move, then wait for status change. How long will it take to get my temp PR from start to apply. Thanks!
