F1 getting married to green card holder

I am on F1 status and about to get married to a green card holder. What are the problems expected regarding change of status and applying for green card. Should I take any specific precautions before applying for green card?
 
After marriage

you can file I130 , I485 , I765 and I131 all together. After you get EAD and AP your status will change from F1 to adjustee.
You have to apply all so that there is no conflict (in terms of immigration intent) between F1 and I130.

There is no compulsion to file for GC, but this is a benefit many want to enjoy.
