F1 Cancellation during AOS

Hi All
because the information of this forum wasn't clear enough. Does anyone know if F1 is cancelled during the AOS and when it's cancelled during the interview or when you apply for AOS by returning the documents in the 2nd package?

It is gray area. Theoretically, once you filed AOS, you are under authorized stay with AOS pending unless you have dual intent visa such as H1/L1. Since one can not have 2 status' in the US at the same time, some says F1 is void. HOwever, there is no clear guidance from authority for this.

If you are in school, you can go to school under AOS if school accepts it.
