I just got a RFE after my case sat for 4 months on an officer desk.

It seems to me that this is just another way for the INS to delay approval. Many of my coworkers got their GC. Now the INS is requesting a new employer letter from my company. What for? I don't know, that's the only thing they were able to do 4 months after assignment of my AOS case.

FYI...I am WAC01-280xxx

Any similar situation???
 
recently someone had a post saying that the EVL we submit with
our app is valid only for a year...and it seems to be true from this...
so all waiting WAC-01 add another 2 months for RFE processing...
This wait sucks...

Sorry to hear about rfe so late. could you please provide some more details. when did you receive RFE? what else the RFE asks for ? how do you know that your case has been assigned to an officer ?

i'm also wac-282-xxxxx candidate and status says
"FP is received, process has been resumed ... " for more than 7 months .
