F-2 to H-4

I had 2 questions:-

As of now, I've received I797 (H-1b)but haven't gone for H1 visa stamping yet.
Prior, I had F1 visa from University and my wife was on F2 dependent visa. My wife's F2 visa is valid until Jul 19 2009. Can the experts from the forum please suggest if she can be on a valid F2 status until Jul 19 2009 and meanwhile my company can file H4 dependent visa for her while we both are here and I can go for H1 stamping to a US consulate along with her anytime until Jul 19,2009.

My OPT was supposed to end Dec-21/2008.

Her Company had filed for H-1b visa, received query(answered ). Showing denial on the portal. What should be done in this case.

Once you are on H1B, her F2 status will be invalid as it is contingent on you being on F1. File a COS for F2 to H4.

Please do not say that you filed for her H1B because that is not possible. She must have found an employer to file for her. She - not you - needs to deal with the denial. Since there is no reason given for the denial, no one can advise her on it.
