F-1 Visa expired,OPT denied - Out of status help !!!!!

Hi

I need your advice in my case.My F-1 visa expired on 12 May 2004(I already availed 3 semester extensions before that).I applied for a OPT before my F-1 visa expired ,my OPT gpt rejected on Jul 17 because of a bounce check that was not rectified(I rectified but it was too late it seems)

So technically iam out of status from Jul 17,2004.What are my options now to gain back legal status in USA(Any type of VISA)

Your case is difficult. If you are unable to show that you had no control over what happened, you are out of luck..I suggest to contact a good immigration attorney.
