Hi, I'm a graduate teaching assistant at my school (20 hours per week). I'm also a musician, and played a $600 gig for Thanksgiving which requires a W9. I have not yet submitted the W9 to be paid, because I'm worried this is not allowed under my visa. Does the holiday fall under class being 'out of session'? Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
