F-1 employment and AOS

I am on F-1 and I am employed via CPT (SEVIS employment authorization). When I file for AOS and receive NOA, does this void my F-1 status AND my SEVIS employment authorization. Can I continue working on CPT while waiting for EAD or will this be a violation of law? Thank you.

when u file for AOS you are no longer in F1 status. you are pending AOS. when u file AOS also file for an EAD and use that to do your CPT.
