Hello all, I need your advice. My parents filed me 1-130. I am currently a grad student under a new I-20.My original F-1 granted for Bachelors expires in a couple of months. Since my program requires foreign travels, I am planning to go to home country, apply for new F1 through a new DS160. How would my parent's application affect me. If they withdraw it now, can I answer the DS 160 without hesitation and face the interview without stressing? Before I ask them to withdraw it, I need your advice. What I currently need most is to finish this grad program in another 1 and half years. Thanks for any advice.
