I am on 8th year H1B. Both H1B & H4 were approved for 7th and 8th year, but we didn't get 7th and 8th year H4 Extension papers so far.
I have the 7th year H1B paper in hand. 8th year H1B has been approved and has been mailed to my employer by INS.
7th year H4 was sent to wrong address and we have given a change of address to INS ( August 04 ) and INS is processing this request but still we are yet to receive.
8th year H4 was sent to some(!) address and we have given a change of address to INS ( Today ) and INS is processing this request.
My questions are
(1) 1-94 on my wife's passport has expired, is she her stay in US valid considering above situation?
(2) Can and should I apply for duplicate H4 papers for both years?
(3) If she travels to India now, will there be problem?
(4) And will there be problem when she comes back to US?
(5) Will there be a problem, if H4 is converted to H1?
