extension of visitor visa

hello,

I am in new york on visitor b2 5 year multiple visa. My visa expires on october end. Yesterday I applied for an extension in visa because currently I am seeing doctors for my renal problem in a hospital and i have my tests and doctors appointment running in late november which is after the expiry of visa. I have submitted all the medical documents and also affidavitof support along with the extension form. My question is two: How long normally they take for visa extension reply?
and currently, my younger sister who lives in new york and is a citizen applied for my immigration on 2010 which is under process.Can I use that to extend my stay in someway?

No. Infact her I-130 on your behalf reduces the chances of your I-539 being approved.

I would like to know in this case that when I leave USA before my expiry date, when can I come back again? is there any minimum day time period?
