Hi,
We applied extension of visitor visa for my mom who had 6 months visitor visa with all necessary paper work and a letter explaining the purpose of stay. But we got a letter from INS asking to "submit a statement in which you describe your intention concerning departure from United States". What does this mean? I am confused about it. Did anybody have the similar problem? please suggest what i supposed to do now. Is this ok if we resumit the forms explaining the purpose of stay again? Do I need to approach any lawyer?
Please suggest.

Thanks a lot,
ravi

Hi Ravi,

Just send the copy of your mom\'s Air ticket (If you have Return Ticket with open date is ok.) or such kind of proof which saws that you already have an arrengmnet of her way back to home. Just read the Instruction in application from regarding the proof or documents to be submited.

RKS.
