extension of status as parolee

I have an application for adjustment of status(I 485) pending and went out ofcountry last year on advance parole. I returned and my I 94 was stamped as entered on parole till 5/31/2003 awaiting adjustment of status. Now my case is still pending and I94 stamp will expire. How do i apply for extension of this status(I 539 or ? other form).
 
my lawyer told me not to do

any thing in same situation, untill i want to go out of country , in that case I will need to renew AP.

But please still consult with your lawyer and post the result. As I don't believe on my lawyer much.
 
my lawuyer asked me to go to local ins office.
ins local office told me that i need not do anything but that stamp with expiry bothers me as i cant quote their verbal assurance if in future any ins officer thought otherwise.
 
Dont worry!

Till your 485 is approved or rejected, you can stay in this country. Only if you need to travel abroad, you need to renew the Advance parole, which takes anywhere from 60 days to forever.
