App Receipt : Dec 16th

No RFE.

Just sent the ticket, cover letter (stating the reason and my employement) and, bank statement, pay stub, and photocopies of relevant passport pages (did not send the original I-94).

Hi,

Could you please let me know which service center you applied to? What happens in case they dont reply before the expiration of the current visitors visa. Would one be considered out of status retroactively. Any info is appreciated.

My service center was CSC.

Reasons were health, genuine reasons. Parents are also fairly old.

You can continue to stay till a decision is made on your application.
 
Thank you for replying. But I am still confused with this. I understand you are in legal status till the time they reply. But when they reply, if the extension is denied, is one out of status retroactively? I am getting different answers with regard to this. If someone knows exactly the law please help.
