My Green card was issued on March 31, 2005. My five years will be up this April. I have a little issue with this. On Jan, 2006 I was arrested for Petty Theft.
I hired a laywer and then I was enrolled in the pre-trial diversion program. After the successful completion of the program my case was dismissed. After the dismissal my attorney filed a petition in the court to expunge my arrest from the record.After a hearing on the matter, the judge decided to expunge the record. So it has been four years since that. I wanted to check if I will be allowed to apply for the citizenship this April. Do I have to wait. What other things do i need to think about before filling the application
