Expiry of L2-EAD and Renewal of EAD

I am on L2 visa. My EAD expired on April 1, 2007.
I am starting a new job from 2nd April, 2007.
I applied for Renewal of my EAD on 27th Feb, 2007, Finished Biometrics on 15th March, 2007. My case is with California Service Center.

I went twice to USCIS local office in San Francisco and requested for Interim EAD, AS I have not recived my EAD card yet.
But it was said by officer that, they do not issue Interim EAD.

Can anybody guide me from where I can get interim EAD ? what is the procedure for getting interim EAD ?

hai,

visit the site www.uscis.gov.......in that click on Infopass and get an appointment with the EAD centre in ur neares t circle and fix an appointment so that u can recieve ur interim EAD after showing all the documents as required.
