"Expires On" field in the i-539

Hi:

What does the "Expires On" mean on the i-539 form? Is it?

a> the expiration of your visa?

-or-

b> the expiration of your i-94?

yes, you write there the last day that you can stay in America.

for example, when I fill my form, in my passport was saying 04/09/05, but I could stay until 05/09/05 because my visa was J1 and I could travel for one mot if I wanted.
