expired petition..help!!!

When does a petition become inactive and eventually expire? Can someone pls explain to me, in a timeline the process of reactivating an expired petition case (I-140) ....

How and when a I 140 get expired....Can anybody explain.

there is no expiration for approved I-140. approved I-140 can be revoked by the sponsoring employer anytime.
