I have an expired Canadian Passport. It was issued Nov-22-1995 and expired Nov-22-2000.
I left the U.S. for 4 days for a funeral in Oct-2005 in Canada. On the way back to the U.S., I told the Immigration Officer (IO) at the point entry the reason, he had some feeling of understanding. Also, my trip back home, to the U.S. was delayed because of Hurricane Wilma. He understood that too.
However, he did not stamp my passport. I showed him my expired passport. I also showed him my Green Card and Social Security. He just let me through.
Other than that I have not left the U.S.
Should I fill in “Part 7. Trip Outside the United States”?
