I am a Canadian Permanent resident and an Indian citizen. I am on a US H1-B visa since year 2000, which expired late last year. I got my H1-B extended in time before the original H1-B expired. However, I have not got the new H1-B visa stamped on my Indian passport as yet.
Can I go to a US consulate in Canada to get the new H1-B stamped on my Indian passport given that my original H1-B visa has expired? Or do I have to go to an US consulate in India for that?
