Hello Experts,

I have been in US for past 4 years on H1B and am going to Delhi, India for first time to get H1b stamping - Have couple of questions - Would appreciate any suggestions/opinions I can get -

1) I came here on tourist visa and got H1B after 2 months - what should be an appropriate answer if they ask about it?
----- well whatever i sthe right thing you came here for interviews etc, or found someone to gave a job anything.
2) I have my brother living in US on H1B - In D-156 should I declare that - as I am worried it might have a -ve impact - what should I do?

-----Golden rule never lie on the forms, so you have to mention H1 of ur brother.

3) I went to Canada immediately after getting my H1B approved 4 years back to get my H1B stamping - But I was refused and I was told I should go to India for the first time stamping. Should that be of concern? If so, that how should I handle it?
--- mention it on the DS-156 where is asks if you have been refused a visa say yes and give details

4) Would 6 months pay stubs and the last W2 form be sufficient or do I need more because I have misplaced/lost my previous years paystubs and W2s. I am confused as to why do I need to take tax forms (Federal & state taxes) - as I filed for state & federal taxes and have photostat copies of only last year's tax forms (Form 1020 etc.). Should I be needing them??

----last six mths paystubs may be fine, but u need all W2's. You have the option of visiting the local IRS office and obtain the copies of prev returns. Talk to ur employer about generating copies of W2's for u

Please help me with your suggestions/opinions as to what you think is the correct solution to the above questions? Would appreciate all the details that I can get.

Thanks

Thanks waitin_toolong. Your suggestions are going to be of great help. By the way what are my chances (%) of getting the Visa considering the above facts... so that I know what's likely going to be my fate.

Also it will be good if some other people can posts their reviews on the same issues - as these seem to be the some of the most common and confusing issues.

Thanks.
