Experts Please help....RFE on Advance Parole..

Hello,

Today when I checked my wife's case status online I saw that she have received an RFE on her Advance Parole. She is currently on H4 Visa. And recently her EAD Card was approved but was returned back to INS due to some misunderstanding of Postman. I am very confused as to why everything is going wrong. It might take atleast a week before we receive the RFE details via mail - but can experts please throw some light onto what this RFE on Advance Parole can be about so that I can be prepared to take another blow?

I do not think that return of the EAD has caused the RFE on AP... but again
who knows...

Generally AP RFE is on the copy of ones ID... did U send color copies of Ur ID with picture .. if not it might be the RFE.

[Black & white is also accepted but the picture should be clear .. better are color photocopies]
 
I had got an RFE

Hi

I had got an RFE on AP renewal, they wanted all copies of H4, basically that we have legally stayed in the US. They approved it in 2 weeks time. I also got a RFE on EAD renewal asking for marriage certificate and 485 and 140 filling/approval notice. EAD renewal is still pending. Strange are the ways of USCIS !! Lord help us !!!

Hi guys, Thanks for your suggestions. I did submitted everything that was required. Hopefully this RFE would be for some simple thing - I will wait to receive it via mail and than update this thread to let you know what it is about. Thanks
 
AP not received

I have applied for a AP renewal on 16th sept and yet not received it...does anybody know how long does it take for a renewal AP?

RFE on Daughter's Advance Parole

I checked my Daughter's AP application status (NSC, AP applied 15-SEP-05)and it shows as RFE issues yesterday. I have to yet to talk to my lawyer though.

My Daughter's I-485&AP are filed after my (I-485&AP, my AP approved) - basically ADDED to my application.

I will keep updated here of the status.
