Hello All,
My h1b is epiring on 2/27/2004 . I do not want to renew h1b. I applied for EAD got RFE on Nov13 2003. we replied RFE on NOV262003 . BCIS updated online message on Dec 1 2003. My question is
When can I get interim EAD?
If I am not eligible on iEAD until March1 2004 what will be my status (AOS pending or out of status?)
Please advise...

You can try for interim EAD 90 days after BCIS received your original application and has not acted upon it.
Your status remains that of pending adjustee but you cannot work without getting the actual EAD (or getting H1 renewed).
Once 485 is filed you are considered in status.

In this forum most people saying you can't get iEAD after RFE you have to wait another 90 days to go for iEAD in local office. if you see my RFE received by USCIS on Dec1 2003. from there 90 day means Mar1 2004. I can go to local office on MAr 1 2004 ... (If tehre is no RFE again..:))
 
Which Center???

The EAD processing time is pretty good with most of the centers , if you are lucky and if your RFE reply is good then I think your EAD would be processed soon(before feb 2004) but it is still a risk.
Which service center?
Which local service would you be going to get your EAD? I think some of the these local centers do not give iEADs.
