I have a GC , it feels good !
Following is experience of 4 colleagues to date with 485 in SF all 2002, I hope it helps:


Colleauge European 1 , 485 filed March 31 , EAD card received August 12, FP done in june/july timeframe.

Colleague European 2, 485 filed May1. No EAD , No FP. Went to INS in SF and got temporary EAD

Colleague Indian 1 , 485 filed May 1, EAD approved Aug 23 , Card received Aug 28. No FP yet

Coleague Indian 2, 485 filed May 1 , FP done in June, No EAD

Update 2

Hi

European 2 got EAD approved on Sept 12 and received EAD cad on Sept 17th.

Lawyer has sent faxes Sept 18th on fingerprints for the the two who dont yet have FP.

UPDATE 3

A 5th colleague, European 3, filed a joint I-140/1485 application on Sept 12th or therabouts 2002.

He received letter for fingerprinting a few days back, OCT 7.

Colleague European 2 , who has filed 485 in MAY finally got fingerprint notification this week .for end november.
