Experience Letter

One of my friend is applying for PERM. There is problem withh his experience letter. He has experience letter from his privious employer with end date as 10/31. He joined New employer at 11/07. Privious employer is not ready to give him experinece letter with date ending at 11/07 even though he worked for him. Will ther be any problem with this 7 day differnce in future. Please advice.
 
You only need to use experience letters to document the required experience for the position, so, if the job requires one year of experience, and he can document it WITHOUT the incorrect letter, just omit the incorrect letter from the filing.
