Experience letter - - Help me

Anyone,

Please help me regarding my experience letter.

I have joined company A in May 2002 and left that company in Dec 2002.
Company A applied H1-Transfer in May 2002 and it got approved sometime in Sept 2002.
I did work in one project at the client site from May 2002 to Sept 2002 and Company A
didn't pay me for these months and i don't have anything(Timesheets etc.) with me to support like that.
They paid me for the months of Oct,Nov and Dec 2002.
I did have my paystubs and W2 form for those three months.

I did mention in my Labor that i worked for the above company from May 2002- Dec 2002
and I won't get experience letter from May 2002- Dec 2002.If at all i fight i may get
experience letter for the months of Oct,Nov and Dec 2002.
Now i got one contact person from client company who worked with me at that time.

is it o.k if i get a exp. letter from him for the period of May 2002- Dec 2002?
if it is o.k what is the format of exp. letter.is it o.k if he provides it in white paper and notarized it?
what are all cautions should i take while notarizing it?

is it going to be o.k i get like this and submitted for my I-140 eventhough i don't have
paystubs from May 2002 to Sept 2002?

is it going to be any problem in any stage of my GC Process?
