Anybody has any experience in getting H-1 stamp at a non-home consulate, esp. Paris, London, Frankfurt or other US consulates in Germany or UK? Certain details …

o I already have 3 (expired) stamps on my (old) passport.
o This is my 7th year.
o My wife’s H-4 extension is pending at TSC since 3 mos. now.

Any tips on which consulate is more convenient, and help is appreciated. How long does it take in any of these 3 places.

As far as the fees go, do I have to give GPB/Euro/USD. Is Credit card accepted.

You have to be a legal resident (or have resided for a substantial period of time) in any of those countries before the US consulates there can accept your visa application. Only exceptions are Canada and Mexico. It is not a matter of convenience.

Thanks for your reply.

Is there a resource to refer to on this one? So I cannot take this business trip without going to my home country?
