Hi, All:

     For those who wish to change their mailing address with INS, here is my experience.

     I went to INS office at Sacramento, CA yesterday (10/15) but they refused to update my address (they have a "view-only" option). Instead, they gave me a fax number for change of address ONLY: 949-389-3485 (for status inquiry, use 949-389-3484). Use the 3485 number if you have filed a I-485, I-765, I-90 with CSC. I faxed my change of address (using the form I downloaded for INS website) at 11:00am on 10/15, and the fax went through without redialing (if you tried 3484 number before, you know what I am talking about). Then I called CSC this morning and was told that my address has been successfully updated.

Hi Dawson. Can you please tell me what the number of the INS change of address form is? I just want to make sure that I download the correct one. Thanks.

i sent g-731-c about a month ago for change of address no update still had the same address did called this morning though around 7:55 am waited till 9:10am finnally got trough changed my address IIO asked me for WAC# then took a print out wrote the new address and she said she will foward it to the right dept. all this after calling all day yesterday and couldn\'t get trough ... so the fax change of address si the best option and saves time and stress :O)
 
Form ar-11 don\'t have any GC related info/numbers!

Thanks for sharing this info.

I have a question...
There is no space to fill GC related numbers/info on ar-11 form! Do we need to use any other form along with this? If not, can I expect INS to find out that my GC is pending and change address w.r.t. GC too?

AR11 is the right form

First, I would like to say " S D" is "Dawson Dong", since I registered twice with my office computer and home computer. On the upper right corner there is a space for your current status, I filled "other - I-485 pending" then write in bulk letters my WAC on the top of the page. Besides, when I called IIO this morning, he asked for my A# and said that address was updated for all my cases across the board. Hope this answers your question.
