I am not concerned why I was pulled to the secondary because none of the officers gave me a hard time. I just wanted to explain the horrible conditions there and how they were treating others. Foul language, long waiting hours, smelly room etc. Basically the whole waiting game left a bad taste in my mouth.
 
Last year when I arrived at JFK with my GC, I waited in line with other GC holders and US citizens. The officer did not ask me anything. I handed her my GC, she scanned it (or whatever they do, as I did not lean in too much to see), gave it back. Did not ask for anything else. I had my NP (not RTD or anything) but she did not even ask for it. I don't think we even exchanged "hello"s. It all took less than a minute. I am not usually a lucky person, but I guess on that day i was lucky that I had such a smooth and quick process.
