Expediting Name Checks - Ombudsman's promise

Mr Khatri hadmentioned few months ago that all NCs that are pending for a long time will get a decision pretty soon. He had suggested that USCIS worked out something with FBI. I dont see if anything happened on that front.

do any of you know if any progress was made on this front.

i tried to take help from 2 senators in expediting NC.

got a letter from one about 2 weeks ago that suggested that FBI has confirmed that they have taken a decision and are going to send it to USCIS. yesterday got another letter from other senator that says FBI has informed them that the case is still waiting and they shoudl advice their constituents that FBI is not expediting based on these requests.

dont know which one is more credible.
 
I wrote letters to my two senaters too, got one reply letter saying that they can't expediting NC to FBI unless four reasons, which we all know those reasons not apply to our regular people, so basically my senater didn't help for NC expediting.
