Expedited processing of Re-entry permit

Dear forum members,

How long does it take to get the re-entry permit approved through expedited processing? It is very important for me to know to make certain plans.
Regular processing is 3 months.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

I called the USCIS yesterday and they told me that fingerprinting itself cannot be expedited, and that it usually takes 30 days. The person didn't know exactly how long the expedited processing of I-131 takes, and said that it depends on the office processing the request.
 
True. It depends on how busy the local office is. Some people were lucky enough to walk in, and got FP done, esp. in the afternoon, but need an INFOPASS appointment online ahead of time.
 
The date you get the letter, you can go (assuming you have a good reason) and ask to be fingerprinted before the date.
