I'm also desperate for info about this. I have my oath tomorrow morning in SF and am due to travel to Europe May 19th. I have tried calling NPIC without any success in getting an appointment. Is there anyway I can get my passport in time? Even the expedited processing of 2 weeks will be too late!! Help!

Rush processing

Expedited processing can take more than 2 weeks and it can be up to 4 weeks, look in the citizenship forum as there are some people that applied using an agency that offers "Rush" service and they are able to get the passport in couple of days, it costs you about $95 more than expedited processing. Good Luck.

Visibility of BirthDate, ExpirationDate, etc. in the US Passport

Hi all,
I am not sure if this is the right thread to post this question. I just received my US passport and noticed that birth date, expiration date, etc.(except name) are not visible clearly. They have been partially overwrritten by some random numbers/letters in extremely small fonts. It looks like some computer generated thing.

Is anyone facing this kind of situation?

Please let me know. I want to make sure there is no misprint in my passport.

Thanks
patkt

Did you get your passport in time for your trip? Would like to know your experience. I have my oath on Aug 2nd and need to travel within a week of oath.

Thanks
S.
