Same as it regular but put expedited outside just below NSC. Write a letter and include evidence.

I sent mine and i got in less than 3 weeks. I was amazed at it. but my reasons were valid and evidence that no one could deny.

Thank you wantmygcnow.

I believe I have a valid reason as well.

Hey guys,

2 days ago i have faxed NSC all the douments are needed to expedite the RP for an emergency and they have received the fax. When i checked the case online, it shows a new update 02/08/2008 the same day they got the fax.

What is that means? and how long it takes to get the RP if they approved it

It means that they have received the fax and they put it in your file.
Now, whether they grant the expedite process or not you will find out in 2 or 3 weeks... You MAY get a letter from NSC letting you know if they have placed your application in expedite process.

In my last expedite experience (4/5 months ago), it took them 3 weeks since they received my fax till I got the RTD.

Good Luck,

That's what i thought too. So, have you sent the documents by fax and the mail or just through the fax only? in my case, i have just sent the documents through the fax

If the question was for me, well one fax wasnt enough. I sent several faxes and mailed the actual letter certified. In addition I contacted my congressmen and one of those worked. Im not sure which one.

First, I sent a fax. I got an update, then after a month nothing happened. I called to see if NSC put my case in expedited processing and nothing, no record no knowledge. Then, is when I faxed my letter and support documents AGAIN, and repeated it 3 times in one week. I contacted my congressmen office and a week later I got a letter stating that my case was placed in expedite processing. 3 to 4 weeks later I got my RTD.

So its not easy to request an expedite processing for a RTD, unless you have a strong reason for either financial lose, work important matters, or CIS mistake, the petition will be denied. I have seen it many times in the place I volunteer.

If you do have a valid reason AND can prove it with documents, dont expect CIS to expedite your application with just one fax. Be proactive and fax your requets again, mail it, and contact your congressman office.

Or just wait and see what happens, hopefully NSC will do something.

Good luck

need clarification

I already e-filed my I-131 petition few months ago. Now, where should I send my expedite request? Do I send it to P.O. Box 87131 or P.O. Box 87373?

Thank you.

Wow! i opened the mail today i found a little envolope from the USCIS and inside i found the new reentry permit in a new shape looks different than the last one and it is valid for 2 years

I think the congressman office has done the job!

Too bad. I like having a new, weird document every time. It's the only exciting part of this long, expensive and frustrating process through which we all go so often... maybe the next time, it'll have the biometric sign on it.
