exchange of info between airline and bcis

Hi

Gurus please help my friend who was out of status and had come on visitor visa has gone back and now he wants to come back while departing his expired visa was scanned by the airline now the question is do airlines pass this info to BCIS that this person has left the country on so and so date cause he is trying to get a new visa. Appreciate if some one could help me

Gurus please help my friend who was out of status and had come on visitor visa has gone back and now he wants to come back while departing his expired visa was scanned by the airline

--- And he had expired I-94 that he surrendered to airlines then airline forward it to BCIS and info was entered in BCIS data about his departure from US
now the question is do airlines pass this info to BCIS that this person has left the country on so and so date
-- YES
cause he is trying to get a new visa.
-- 100 % sure he will not get visitor visa for USA
