Exceptions for formal Asylee Naturalization

Dear Forum,

I wanted to know if there are any exceptions to a formal asylee now a resident to apply for citizenship after 3 years. Does anyone have an idea on any rule?

You can only apply for naturalisation after 3 years if you've been married to a USC for that long.
