Ex. Rapidigm Guys - Urgent Please Help.

After your lay-off (during your 485 is under process), Did you guys received your original Birth certificates and marriage certificate from them?. PLEASE RESPOND VERY URGENT. GOT LAID-OFF and MY CERTIFICATES ARE WITH THEM.

I REALLY THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP ON THIS MATTER.
 
this company asks only originals and they said they wont accept copies.

were you with Rapidigm and did not give your originals?
 
I worked for a similar company like

rapidigm . never gave out originals . Originals are ur property and they have no right to own it . Ask them to mail them ASAP .

nobody with Rapidigm in my situation. am I only one got laid off from Rapidigm or what?.
 
Brian , just send an email to permres@rapidigm.com

They will send the orginals back to you. My friend who changed job got it. Legally its your property so they will give it back. Dont worry.
 
485 stage

Hi BrainK,
Its sad to know that you are laid off during this final stage of ur GC.Didnt they give any kind of other options to get through this stage,so that you can get ur GC.
 
Does Rapidigm revoke I 140

Does anyone know whether Rapidigm revokes the underlying I 140 when they lay off consultants. I am laid off just 2 months short of 180 days and as per info received from my friends and other sources, Rapidigm only sends a letter to INS stating that they are no longer the legal representattives in the case.

Rapidigm , Termination and GC process

For terminated H employees, the Immigration Department will notify the INS and DOL immediately thereafter to withdraw the H-1B. This is a requirement and is not discretionary. Therefore, should Rapidigm wish to re-hire the employee, a new H-1B Petition must be filed.

If the employee has begun processing his/her Green Card and is then terminated or resigns, Rapidigm will notify the Service Center of such termination and will withdraw as counsel for the employee. A letter will be sent by the Immigration Department to the terminated employee advising the employee to obtain new counsel and informing him/her that Rapidigm has withdrawn as counsel of record. If re-hired, Rapidigm would again notify the Service Center that we are the counsel again.
 
What about changing the job after 180 days ? Do they still withdraw from being a counsel or withdraw

All those who had filed 485 & got laidoff should receive a leeter from immigartion dept right?. but me & some of my friends who were laid off in nOv still not received any such letters. we had filed 485 in july. what could be happening?

yes... i keep checking & it updated when Finger print was done. My FP was done after laidoff.AVm says my case is resumed & they notify if further info nedded etc.. it still the same until yesterday. What does it mean may be?

What did you mean by withdraw ? Withdraw from Counsel or withdraw 140 itself ? Please give me more info. Thanks,
