Hi

My 6 years period expired by April 11th 2004 and moved to Canada. What kind of evidences are reqired to show INS that I am outside US for minumum of 365 days, while requesting for another fresh H1 VISA. Please help....

Thanks,
GS

1 when you went out of US you surrendered your I-94 and it goes in to USCIS records
2 when you left US you may have got arrival stamp in your passport from your home country
3-airline boarding pass copy

for more info the lawyer/employer who is ready to file NEW H1 for you will let you know

Thank you very much for reply in detail.

I have driven to Canada. So, my exit was by road. My I-94 card was not taken by Canadian Immigration and I did't had to go to US Immigration while I was exiting from US.

Not returning I-94 can cause me any problems in future ? How can I return my I-94 card to USCIS now ? Please help..

Thanks,
GS

---------- send your I-94 to the below address and write the date details on cover letter that I-94 was not taken by Canada immigration and you went out of US on dateXYX ( keep the copy of letter with you, better send the letter with return recieptand keep the copy of your letter, the return reciept and copy of I-94 both the sides with you.
