Hi,

I would like to know if you are experiencing the same delays as I do... Over 3 months ago, the 27th of march I filed everything with my lawyer... and as of today still nobody answered; Not even a receipt #!! he's already been at 2 appointments INFOPASS, but the answer is that there's shortage of personnel; (Everything has been recently moved from Chicago to Nebraska)

Is anybody else experiencing this?

Thank you...

Well everything that was necessary for the attorney to file.

still nothing, not even a letter from them. Is anyone experiencing delays? so much... ?

Nope. Got response within 2 weeks. You might be better of checking if ur checks were cashed and resending it. I'm thinking it got lost in the mail.

No the lawyer sent it... I bothered him so much. I've been asking him every week since... I'm kind of concerned right now... isn't that weird? 4 months and nothing NO receipt either!!!

If you didn't get a receipt, it wasn't received by USCIS, PERIOD. Stop waiting, start acting and resend your application. If your lawyer decided to let you wait 4 months without actually receiving a receipt, you need to find a different lawyer. This is a bad joke.

Call the national customer service

1. Call the National Customer Service center.
2. Options 1 then 2 and then 6 (make sure you listen to menu options as they may change).
3. Tell them you have not received receipt and you are worried it may be lost.
4. Answer few routine questions and they should escalate the call to second level.
5. Second level should be able to take your bio data and see if they can find an application.
6. If its not there, then chances are they didnt get it.

Also, check your bank statements to see if checks are cashed. If they are not, then chances are its lost or sitting in dust/under-the-shoe somewhere.
