Estimates for Interview at Newark NJ

Guys,

If a 485 case is transferred to Newark, NJ how long it take before the interview is called. I changed job using AC21 and my attoney expects that I would be called for an interview. Would appreciate if any of the guys transferred to Newark can post how long it is going to take for interview.

it took me about a month to get interview date. Please dont forget to take employement letter from your present emplyer even if it is not asked in the interview letter. It is a must. My case was also Ac21 case.

Hey CrossedFingers,

What are your dates i mean the RD,ND ? Is your case approved ?
 
My TD is Nov. 12 2002 and still no interview letter. I called NVC to inquire and they said that they will send me the status of my case in 5-6 weeks.

Does anyone have any suggestions for me?

Is there a number for Newark. I used the one posted on BCIS website to inquire about my case but the officer said that they don't provide any status information?
