Estimated Approval Date for I-485

I submitted the I-485 on March 22, 2002. What's your best estimate of the approval date based on current processing speed of the Texas Service Center. I appreciate all your help.

I did my EB3 submission in Dec 2001, and just got it a week ago.
Plus another buffy did his in Aug 2001 and got his in March 2004.

Any estimates on FP dates , My receipt date is sept 2002.

My buddy filed in Texas in Feb 2002 and he has his approval a week back, EB2

durhamguy, if you have your FP dates around March-May 2003, you may be getting your approval anytime. Thats the recent trend.

Friends of mine got their approval on 5-5-04. FP- 4-08-03.
I was fingerprinted also on 4-12-03, and is still waiting for my approval.Hooooping it will come soon!

How long will it be to get the mail

The USCIS onlines status showes my I485 has been approved. " On May
14,2004, an approval notice was mailed..." However, 10 days passed, I don't
received the mail yet.... According to your experience,do they really
mail it out on that day? Normally how long will it take for the mail?

My husband is USC. We filed our I130 and I485 at the same time at NYC local office with RD July 16, 2002. This March I applied my second EAD and got approved. Meanwhile, I received a mail stated that my case has been transferred to MSC service center. I had my FP on 6-12-04. Any ideas what's going on?

P.S. I called the 1800 number, one lady told me that i have to wait another year for approval of I130 first, then approval of I485. The next day, my husband called the 1800 number, a guy told him that if i130 and i485 filed concurrently we could count on either one approved first, since the NYC local office has processed to May-06, 2002 by now. I don't know what's going on.
