Error filling out the petition

When I fill out the form and hit the Submit button it gives me an error:
Invalid Numeric field in the Alien Number. I tried different formats for the Alien Number field. just for clarification this is the A# on our EAD card right?

I re-read my post and it didnt seem clear.

Can you please let me know what the correct format to enter the A# is?
- Do I include the A character?
- Any spaces, dashes?

I tried different combinations and it gave me the same error.

I think it should be 9 digits without "-" or space.
For instance, input "012345678" for A# 12-345-678.

Just enter the number without the A and the dashes.

That worked. I had tried with the A without the dashes and without the A with the dashes

It worked without the A and without dashes or spaces
