Eoir 42b visa availability for FY 2019

I when to my first infopass appointment on April 15 and got my passport stamped and I was told I could travel outside the country anytime I wanted. However since didn’t receive the green card I decided to wait until last week that risk it and travel to my home country with the stamped passport only. Although Uscis repeatedly told I could travel I hesitated to do it. They were right I got back home yesterday morning without any issues at all. Surprisingly, this morning I checked my Uscis account to find out my case has finally updated to reopen from fingerprint were taken since 2019. It say they have mailed a notification letter with tracking number which I haven’t received yet. I think I’m the only one who was granted in this group and never got the green card which I hope to get in a few. Please don’t lose hope sisters and brothers God will get all of us to happy end of our journey. God bless you all!!

When was your final hearing? I am assuming 2021 right?

They have not sent me the green card yet and they never gave me a reason why. However, I believe it’s because my case was admin close before the IJ granted my case. They have finally reopened my case as I mentioned before and sent me a notification letter that I still haven’t received but I hope it will be here soon. They also sent me an email saying my green card is in production and I should have it in the next 30 days

My verbal approval was on July 2023, in my case I have my american husband and american three kids 20/19/17 years as qualifying relatives but the extreme hardship is based in my almost 21 years old,I submitted a motion to expedite my case but the judge denied it because there is not available visas. I have not idea what is going to happen with my case, the lawyer said I have to wait until 2027 to have an answer from the judge.Please can you give me some advice based on similar a case.

I’m really sorry to hear that. May I ask which state your case is in? The DOJ isn’t making things very easy these days and everything seems to move slower and slower. I’ve always heard from my attorney that if you have a qualified relative who’s aged out, sometimes the judge may consider expediting the case, but it really depends on the situation and the court.
