Congratulations brother @Raj006!! I also went out of country for 3 days to Canada!! My dream did come true! I flew and got in the Canada without any issues. This afternoon I was flying back from Canada to DC again. My heart was pounding but they only asked when I landed in Canada and how long was I here for. Then they took my fingerprints and said Welcome to US!

Wow @Raj006 the date was from the day you were granted! I don't know why those guys gave me April when I was granted in Feb! It doesn't matter though!! Yes, they asked where I lived and how many days I stayed in Canada. Right after they took a picture and fingerprints. I was thinking I'll go in secondary for sure and they'll make me sit there and ask questions but nothing like that happened. The officer just told me you are clear to go right after and here is your passport. It was a such a relief. I was jumping with joy!! I am still scared though until I get used to it haha!! Canada felt like here but the roads needed maintenance!! Lots and lots of Indian food and people!!! Our side of Niagara is nothing compared to Canadians. My dream came true for sure!! I am happy I came back home safely.

I agreeHello all,
I really appreciate all the resources we are getting from this forum. We have a group of very dedicated people that should later try to apply for some positions within USCIS. I hope and pray we should make a difference for the future generations of immigrants. The chain should break at some point and WE as immigrants deserve better. When you spend 20 plus years of your life in a country, you are definitely a resident of that country. Specially when you are paying taxes and try your best to be a good citizen.
