Entry with denied I 485 and valid H1B

Hi Everybody,

My I 485 was recently denied. But I have a valid H1B stamped on my passport which is valid for one more year. And I'm working for the company that sponsered the H1B and the GC.

I never used the EAD or the AP there were issued to me.

Should I expect any problems entering USA due to the denied I 485 ?

Should I carry any extra documents with me ?

I believe you should not have any problems entering US on valid H1B but check with your attorney.

Why was your H1 denied? If it is due to security/status resons, the same may be valid for denial of entry using H1.

It was my I 485 that was denied, not the H1. And it was denied due to ability to pay issues on the I 140. An MTR/Appeal has been filed for that.
