Entry using H1B or AP if both available and valid

My lawyer is applying for AP (I131) along with I485 and other documents.
He is filing all this in this week.

My H1B Visa is still valid till Aug. 2007.

I hope I will receive my AP before my H1B expires. I am a frequent traveler.
If I receive AP before my H1B expires; shall I use that or I should enter showing my valid H1B Visa?

If you have valid H1B visa stamp then why to use AP?? use H1 and before August you can also file H1 extension
