Entry to US on H1 Visa valid for 1 month

Hi,
I have visa until first week of Jan 2005. I am planning to go to India in Nov and comeback in first week of Dec. I have my approved I797 from Jan '05 until Oct '05(7th year extension came recently). Would there be any problems if I go to India on my current valid visa and comeback in dec(without getting stamped on the new one)? Eventhough it is valid, I am doubtful as there is only 1 month left on the visa when I comeback in DEC.

No there should not be any problem.

Make sure that at the POE, you get the stamp until 10/05 and not 01/05. How come your 7th year extn. is for 10 mos.?

Thanks a lot for the reply. my 6 years expiring in oct 04. last time when my company applied my h1 extension in jan this year(as it was expired) they applied for 1 year until jan 05. INS gave for 1 year(they asked why 3 month extra and our lawer provided my pending LC details). Now when we applied for 7 the year, they have given until oct 05.
