I have a B1/B2 Multiple Entry Visa till 2019. I went to the United States on Feb 25, 2009 and came back to the Philippines August 21, 2009. While in the States, I was granted an extension to stay in the U.S. till Feb 2010...but I decided to come home to the Philippines anyway. I would like to go back to the U.S. on November 8, 2009 to spend Thanksgiving with my Husband and my In-Laws. Will they give me a hard time at the Port Of Entry?:confused:

My husband is an American Citizen. He has been in Iraq for 4 years. We took some time off in Feb 2009 to spend time with his parents. Right now he is still in Oklahoma.

Since your husband is USC, there are issues with your entry as you have demonstrated immigrant intent. When is he planning to file for your GC?

If he has been in Irag for 4 years, he is most likely a contractor and not military. Is this the case? If he is by chance military, there is a special unit at the USCIS dedicated to assisting military families.

My husband is a Contractor, not Military. We have no intentions to live in the United States. If I was going to live there, I would have worked on my Green Card when we first got married. We've been married for 2 years, going 3 June 2010. I am honestly only there for vacation. Our home is in the Philippines, and we are settling in the Philippines. Is my extension to stay in the States till Feb 2010 no longer valid because I came back August 2009?

Your extension is not valid any longer.

Other than being "chatty" when you reply to the IO's questions, I have no suggestions. By "chatty" I mean giving more information than just the short to the point answers that are normally advised. For example if asked why you want to enter rather than "meet husband" say "husband is visiting parents after working as ....... before we return to .... in ..."

Good luck!
